Fàilt’ air ais, a chàirdean! ‘S a phrògram seo, tha sinn a’ bruidhinn air iomadach rud, agus tha pìos ann a tha sinn cinnteach gun còrd ruibh. Tha sinn a’ beachdnachadh air naidheachdan an turas seo, naidheachdan mar a chluinneas sibh air an rèidio, an telebhisean agus anns a’ phaipear naidheachd – rudan a tharraing ar n-aire agus a dh’fhaodadh a bhith cudthromach ‘sna naidheachdan anns an àm ri teachd. Tha sinn a’ bruidhinn air na pìosan naidheachd cuideachd – dè ur barail fhèin air na rudan a thagh sinn?

Welcome back, friends! In this program, we talk about a lot of things, and we have an item that we’re sure you’ll like. We are talking about news this time, news that you’d hear on the radio, TV and that’s in the newspapers – things that drew our attention and might be important in the future news. We talk about the news pieces as well – what’s your opinion about what we chose?

Agus tha naidheachd de sheòrsa eile ann cuideachd – nuair a bhruidhinneas sinn air “naidheachd”, tha sinn cuideachd a’ bruidhinn air sgeulachdan, agus ‘s ann mar sin a tha e an turas seo. Tha sinn a’ tabhainn dhuibh naidheachd a chuala sinn bho duine ann an Colorado, air a bheil tòrr againn eòlach – Glenn Wrightson. Tha Glenn ag innse dhuinn sgeulachd a bh’aige nuair a bha sinn còmhla aig àm a’ Mhòid ann am Pennsylvania an uiridh. Tha i agus e gu math èibhinn – sgeulachd shnog air latha fuar Geamhraidh – dè an còrr a dh’iarradh duine? A-mach bho “chungaidh-leigheis” mar a chuir Liam gu feum nuair a bha an cnatan air!

And there’s another kind of “naidheachd” – when we talk of “naidheachd”, we’re also talking about stories, and that’s how it is this time. We offer you a story we heard from a man from Colorado, that many of us know – Glenn Wrightson. Glenn tells us a story that he had when we were together at the Mòd in Pennsylvania last year. It and he are quite entertaining – a nice story on a cold winter day – what more could a person want? Besides the “remedy” that Liam used when he had a cold last!

Something to say?
