Seo agaibh, a chàirdean, an ath-phrògram againn, agus an turas seo, tha sinn a’ bruidhinn ri dithis a tha gu math inntinneach agus gu math ainmeail ann an saoghal nan Gaidheal. Airson a’ chiad phàirt dhe’n phrògram, tha sinn a’ bruidhinn ri Kenna Chaimbeul, an seinneadair ainmeil às an eilean Sgitheanach, mu dheidhinn togail na cloinne le dualchas Gaidhealach, mu dheidhinn ceòl agus an t-seinn. Tha i glè inntinneach, agus tha sinn cinnteach gum faigh sibh tlachd às a’ chòmhradh.

Here you go, friends – the next program, and this time, we speak with two people who are very interesting and quite famous in the Gaelic world. For the first part of the program, we speak with Kenna Chaimbeul, the famous singer from the Isle of Skye, about raising children with Gaelic heritage, and about music and singing. She is very interesting, and we’re sure you will enjoy the conversation.

An uair sin, tha sinn a’ bruidhinn ri Seumas Watson mu dheidhinn iomairt a tha dol air adhart ann an Ceap Breatuinn air a bheil Cainnt mo Mhàthair. Tha an iomairt a’ feuchainn ri blas nan Gaidheal ann an Ceap Breatuinn, agus an gnathasan-cainnt, a ghlacadh airson sealltainn mar a tha agus mar a bha a’ Ghàidhlig ann an iomadach àite air feadh an eilein. Tha seo a’ dol a thoirt cuideachadh do dh’iomairt eile a tha gu math làidir an sin, TIP, airson Total Immersion Plus. Ionnsaich mu na h-iomairtean sin, agus tha sinn an dòchas gun còrd am prògram seo ruibh.

Next, we speak with Seumas Watson about a program that is being done in Cape Breton called Cainnt mo Mhà thair (My Mother’s Language). It’s going to try to capture the sounds and expressions in Cape Breton, to show how Gaelic is and was on the island. This is also to help another effort, TIP, or Total Immersion Plus. Learn about these efforts, and we hope you enjoy this program.
