Tha Rhoda, a chaidh a breith ‘s a togail anns na Hearadh, ainmeil mar thidsear na Gàidhlig air feadh Ameireaga a Tuath. Tha Cathy Ann aon de na seinneadaran Gàidhlig as ainmeile an latha an-diugh. Rhoda, who was born and raised in Harris, is famous as a Gaelic teacher throughout North America. Cathy Ann is one of the most renowned Gaelic singers today. They both live in Canada now, Rhoda in Toronto and Cathy Ann in Ottawa. We spoke with them briefly about the Mòd in Ottawa – the first Mòd Canada – and what was happening.
